The sky has split
its face into two
shades of equally
mesmerising hues
the first carries your weight
in a dream state
the parallel substitute
to what our pitiful minds
can't elate.
The earth surrenders
to its partner's calming breath
she lays her colours up
in a faithful play
of caress
Pity the fool
for he isn't able to love
the spaceless void
that lays between
the shadow
and the sun.
